A little Christmas fun!

Milas told me that I needed to update the blog so that the first thing you see isn't Lydia's behind. So here it is. We have had lots of fun with the Christmas season with Lydia. She loves to go look at all the lights on the street, she is really good at oohing and aweing. She also enjoys opening the presents early and playing with Dad's trains.

The bulbs didn't last very long. We only have beads on our tree, because three bulbs broke while putting them on so we didn't risk it with the ornaments.

Milas' beautiful job at decorating the house. Don't you love the river? Lydia caught in the act. She thinks that all presents are for her and she should unwrap them now.
Milas and Lydia playing trains. Choo Choo!
"Oooh" as Lydia would say
It's ready to roll, Lydia thought the train was pretty sweet. I wish I had the patience to put a video on, because it was funny to watch her chase it around and around.

Results from Dad and trains (Lydia was riding on Milas' back and she fell off onto a train)

Not a big fan of him if she has to sit on his lap. She liked to look at him from a distance and she liked the candy cane after.

Prego picts at 32 wks + 3 days.
(isn't Milas a great photographer)

Painting toe nails. It has nothing to do with Christmas, but Lydia and I have red toe nails, in case anyone was wondering.

This is Lydia's creative way to get into the Bath tub or onto anything. It cracks me up because it never works. But if you don't succeed try try again.

This is where it ends and she doesn't know what to do. Then I help.

Mount Charleston

Last weekend we went up to Mount Charleston and had a picnic. It was fun to be a little bit cold and get out of the city. It was really pretty up there and Lydia enjoyed walking around in the wilderness. It was a fun family outing.

Happy Halloween!!

On the Monday before Halloween we had some friends over and carved pumpkins. We had fun except Lydia didn't really want to have anything to do with the slimmyness inside the pumpkin. But she liked the candles when we put the in the pumpkin.

Lydia is not real sure she want to do this. She didn't want to touch the stuff
At least her hair looks good. :)
The Parish Family!
The Marchants
Happy Halloween!
Lydia was a duck, She thought it was pretty funny she had this fluffy thing on.
And she thought the candy was great.
She picked it up real quick that you're supposed to knock on the door and someone will bring you candy.
And here is the candy. A happy camper. I think she takes after her Mom in this category, we love candy!!

I had a request to put a pregnant picture of me so here it is. Me at 24 weeks. It was in Rexburg. I always feel like an idiot having my picture taken by myself so that is why I pose; if you were wondering.

I am realizing now that I should have just done a slide show, because I have a lot of pictures. Oh well, better luck next time.
I just love this picture. It makes me smile.

When we went to church on Sunday we happened to be in the same ward that Milas' Mission Companion was so here they are. Milas with him (I can't seem to remember his name right now, but I am sure it will come to me)
Lydia playing the computer
This must have been really funny.
This cute little boy is Jackson. He is the little boy of Paige /Newman/ He is 6 months old and one pound heavier than Lydia.

Rexburg, Idaho

We got to go to REXBURG last week because Milas was recruiting for PBTK (the firm he works for). Lydia and I were happy to join him. It was so much fun to see everyone and be there, I love Rexburg. Lydia didn't even get sick.

Gotta love the fam.!! Left to Right : Lindsey and Drew, Laura and Milas, Seth and Sierra. We sure miss you guys and wish we could see you more often.

These are all the Guys. We had a day at the park
on Sunday afternoon. It was really nice to be
outside and get a little chilly. I took a lot of pictures at the park because I love the fall colors it was so pretty.

Lydia Playing with the Leaves. She Didn't want to look at the camera or smile. She just wanted to enjoy nature and wanted everyone to leave her alone.

Milas Trying to pose like Lydia, Cute!

Lydia Squating!

Photo taken by Lindsey, Lydia still didn't want to smile, but the colors are still beautiful.

Abbie went a little crazy, and Milas wanted to be a part of this one. So here we have Milas' foot, Me, Sierra, Abbie, and Lindsey.

Just some pictures!

These are just a bunch of pictures we have taken, and finally put on the computer. I always love it when you forget about a picture that was taken and it turned out to be cute. It was fun to look at these and remember when we took them.
We had just gotten home and Lydia wanted to drive, she likes to flip the head lights on and off and spray the wiper fluid.

Nice one. Lydia was pressing her face on the window looking at Dad and so I joined in. She's fogging her side up.

One morning after breakfast Lydia got into the diaper bag and into my wallet and got some of the good stuff out. She knows what she needs to get what she wants. $$

This has become one of Lydia's favorite places to sit. I have to be quick when I get something out of the refridgerator, because she will come and sit here and never want to leave.

Cute outfit, by Jodi.

Milas was gone working one night so we made a fort. We have a cute vidoe of her crawling in and out of it, but it is too big, so just imagine. This was a fun activity, highly recommend.

We got a little creative with the hair. It started out with two and turned into six. She was so good to sit still the whole time.

I thought this was so funny. Lydia likes to stand up in her high chair and the window was open here so it was a big distraction. She was wearing tights so she wasn't very sturdy, she slipped and got both legs stuck she struggled to get back up, but I had to help. She did it twice. She didn't learn her lesson because she still stands up. She sure knows what sit down means, but that doesn't mean she listens.

Lydia playing with Dad's tools. Milas had to take this picture, he thought it was great.
